THE OBJECTIVE OF THE MESSAGE:

12: 1 – 3
1.
Now the LORD had said unto
Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's
house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2.
And I will make of thee a
great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be
a blessing:
3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
INTRODUCTION:
·
For
you to be free from financial hardship there is something you must know, some secrets you must keep
around you. Abraham we are celebrating today got his secrets. An instruction
was given to him and he obeyed and took the journey of faith to an unknown
destination God promised him.
·
If
you must be exceptional in your generation, there must be secrets that must be
revealed to you and until it is revealed, you are no difference from an
ordinary man.
·
If
you must be blessed in the kingdom of God as a believer, there must be secrets
God must reveal to you for you to be relevant and excel. The word of God says
that the secret things belong to God, but those ones that are revealed belong
to us forever.
Deuteronomy 29:29 Amplified

“The secret things belong to the
LORD our God, but the things which are revealed and disclosed belong to us and
to our children forever, so that we may do all of the words of this law.
HOW DO YOU
GET THIS SECRET?
1. You must ask God for it Matthew
7:7-11.
2. You must wait upon the Lord in fasting
and prayers Isa. 40:28-31

Study to shew thyself approved unto
God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth.

makes men outstanding lies in the level of secrets of success they know and
have; to keep scaling high.
THE CHANNELS OR DIMENSION OF BEING A BLESSING
For you to be blessed there are certain things
you must do:
You must be
a blessing to God and to His kingdom Matt.6:33
a. You
must be a tither
Gen.14:18-20, Lev.27:30, Mal.3:8-12, Hag.1:6
b. Give
your freewill/love offering.
Ps.96:8, 2 Cor.9:6-7, Gal.6:7, 1Cor.16:1, Prov.3:9-10, Mal.1:8
1. This
can be found in Mal.3:10 –
[Bring ye all
the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove
me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of
heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to
receive it.]
2.
Verse 11: [And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall
not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit
before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.]
WHAT HAPPENWHEN YOU DON’T PAY YOUR TITHE?
1.
The same Malachi 3:8 [Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say,
Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.]
2. Verse
9:
[Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me,
even this whole nation.]
Every robber is meant to be destroyed.
You can’t change it. God is a covenant keeping
God. He doesn’t change. It is you and I that can utter a word later change our
minds; but God cannot. He honours His word even more than his name.
Today tithing is a controversial topic on
social media and everywhere. YOU CANNOT
BE BLESSED if you don’t obey. Saul disobeyed God and lost his kingdom
forever to David.
BENEFITS OF
FREEWILL OFFERINGS:
1. It
is an honour to God and to His name. When a man honour God, him will God honour 1
Sam.2:30
2. It’s our love seed sown under an open
heaven to provoke the needed harvest. Gen.8:20-22, Lk.6:38
As a child of God, we must understand the
mystery of tithing; that when you pay tithes, it opens your heaven, but your
freewill offerings are seeds that you have planted in the earth that when the
windows of heaven are open through your (tithing); it releases the rain and the
dew to water the seeds your (offerings) to yield her increase Gen.8:20-“22”. This
open heaven could be ideas, helpers, favour etc. So your tithe is a key to your
open heaven or should I paraphrase it this way “that your tithe is your “heaven opener” while your offerings
are seeds that are planted to the earth.
A lot of Christians that lack this revelation
and insight and have been giving but under a close heaven simply because they
choose not to obey. Believing that they are enriching pastors and churches. We
are too small whereas the earth is of the Lord and its fullness thereof. When
thousands of rams upon the hills belong to God, He made them.
Come to think of it, is it not a merely
privilege that the King of all kings choose not to ask other rich men, but come
to you and say to you, “I want your own, so that I may bless you?
You must have an understanding today that you
don’t appear before God empty. Even our earthly kings and presidents, you
cannot appear before them empty or give them lame offerings and gifts? How much
more our God?
Well it may be your very last meal or penny

Then the
LORD said to Elijah, “Go to Zarephath in Sidon and stay there. There is a widow
there that I commanded to take care of you.” So Elijah went to Zarephath. He
went to the town gate and saw a woman there gathering wood for a fire. She was
a widow.
Elijah said
to her, “Would you bring me a small cup of water to drink?” As she was going to
get the water, Elijah said, “Bring me a piece of bread too, please.” The woman
answered, “I promise you, before the LORD your God, that I have nothing but a
handful of flour in a jar and a little bit of olive oil in a jug. I came here
to gather a few pieces of wood for a fire to cook our last meal. My son and I
will eat it and then die from hunger.” Elijah said to the woman, “Don’t worry.
Go home and cook your food as you said. But first make a small piece of bread
from the flour that you have and bring it to me. Then cook some for yourself
and your son. The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘That jar of flour will never
be empty and the jug will always have oil in it. This will continue until the
day the, the God of Israel, says, ‘That jar of flour will never be empty and
the jug will always have oil in it. This will continue until the day the LORD
sends rain to the land.’” So the woman went home and did what Elijah told her
to do. And Elijah, the woman, and her son had enough food for a long time. The
jar of flour and the jug of oil were never empty. This happened just as the
LORD said through Elijah.
GUIDELINES
FOR FREEWILL OFFERING:
1. We
must give purposefully
2 Cor.9:7. You must prepare your offerings on time and pray over it. Because
before God receives your offering, He weighs your heart. So give honourably.
2. Give
according to the blessings of God in your life. Deut.16:17. So as the blessings of
God upon your life increases, you also increase your offerings.
3. Give
under an open heaven.
Mal.3:10. When you tithe but don’t pay offerings, you will have an open heaven
but upon the earth where there are no seeds and vice-versa. You must be a
tither as well as a giver so that your seeds can produce harvest under an open
heaven.
4. Give
willingly:
Don’t give like you are doing God, the pastor or the church a favour. If you
give out of grumbling, that giving is a waste.
5. Give
cheerfully and not grudgingly. 2Cor.9:7
6. Give
uprightly.
Prov.15:8. You cannot be a Yahoo boy or girl (Internet fraudster), gambler, an arm
robber, embezzle government funds, hook up or runs girl, change figures,
adulterer or a liar etc. and bring offerings or any proceeds thereof to pay
tithes or offerings to the Lord. Such offerings are cursed and they are abominations
to the Lord. “This alone is a topic for
another time”
Well
the pastor and the church may not know it but if the pastor is aware without
rebuking you and tells you the truth; when you all die, you both will die and
go to hell and there’s nothing that can stop it.
7. Give
honourably:
Don’t give that change, torn and taped currencies, you collect from a tomato
seller or motorcycle/Tricycle rider that is smelling and stinking to God. Don’t
fold and squeeze the Money to the offering box. Money has life so treat it with
respect. Stop abusing our currency. If you prepare your offerings on time, you won’t
even wait for church offering envelopes; you’ll get your clean envelopes and
package it. If you have regards for God.
IN
CONCLUSION:
You cannot enjoy God’s blessings if you are a
sinner. You have to make change your ways but it starts by making a decision to
repent genuinely. So if you have made up your mind to enjoy God’s blessings,
Say this
short prayer with me with the whole of your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus I’m very sorry for all
the wrongs I have done.
Come into my heart and be my personal
Lord and Saviour.
Forgive me Lord and wash me thoroughly
with your precious blood.
Cleanse me from all my unrighteousness
and remove my name from the book of hell and write my name in the book of life.
I believe you were born, died and rose
for me.

Jesus for redeeming my soul in Jesus precious name Amen.
